Sally and Dave's wedding
Let me take you back to the late spring and specifically to the gorgeous Lancashire wedding of Sally and Dave, which happened back in May. The day started with the girls and some getting ready shots. There was plenty of fizz flowing and an abundance of polkadot PJ bottoms, and I was presented with a packed lunch to keep me going throughout the day. Still touched by this gesture!
The ceremony itself took place in the tiny picturesque village of Brindle, in the beautiful old church - conveniently located next to the pub! Post-nuptials, the Bride and Groom were whisked off in an old VW camper to make their way to Rivington Hall Barn, near to Bolton, where everyone would be waiting for them.
Now we did get a bit of rain, but we were prepared for it. The Bride had wellies to hand and we all had umbrellas, and in the end the rain ended up helping me get one of my favourite shots from the day. When I shared the shot with B&G they said it had a Mary Poppins feel to it. Love that!
This was a top wedding and loads of fun. Thanks again for Sally and Dave for choosing me to photograph their day.
